Mission
The Akademia Przywództwa Foundation (Leadership Academy Foundation) supports the development of Christian leaders in Poland, combining sound scientific knowledge with Catholic tradition and values. In its own words, it is united by the Gospel and a passion for leadership. It addresses its programmes to priests, consecrated persons, community leaders and animators, as well as people in responsible positions in business, local government and NGOs who want to build their leadership on Christian values.
Programmes
- Postgraduate studies - an eighteen-month leadership programme at the Catholic Academy in Warsaw. The curriculum includes the Bible and leadership, the leader's spirituality, personal development, communication, leadership ethics, teamwork, leading a small group, public speaking, mentoring, Catholic social teaching and spiritual accompaniment.
- Leadership Evenings - meetings with guests, table workshops and building a community of leaders.
- Animator and Leader Toolkit - an online course of 9 modules (including contract and working with goals, attentive listening, growth environment and team dysfunctions, group process, inner and outer conflict, evaluation and feedback), with access to mentoring.
- “Kingdom Culture” podcast - conversations about leadership in the Church, spiritual and practical.
- The Global Leadership Summit - cooperation on the Polish edition of the world's largest leadership conference.
- White Book of Good Leadership Practices - a project describing good leadership practices in the Church; see White Book.
People
The President of the Foundation's Board is Mariusz Marcinkowski - theologian, personal development trainer, member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. The Council of Founders includes Piotr Gąsiorowski (Leadership Institute, national coordinator of Equip by John C. Maxwell) and Antoni Tompolski (director of Alpha Poland).
Przywództwo.wiki
The Przywództwo.wiki encyclopedia is a project of the Foundation. Its aim is to share reliable, source-based knowledge about leadership - theories, styles, competencies and tools - from the perspective of a Christian vision of the person. The foundation of this perspective is the understanding of leadership in the White Book preamble: giving direction, developing people, making decisions and building a culture grounded in service, respect, humility and responsibility. Theologian, personal development trainer, member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. Founder of the Droga Odważnych community and creator of the programmes “Called to Leadership” and “Lion's Way Academy”.
Council of Founders
President of the Leadership Institute in Kraków, national coordinator of Equip by John C. Maxwell, responsible for the Polish edition of The Global Leadership Summit. Harvard MBA graduate.
Director of Alpha Poland, member of the New Evangelisation Secretariat of the Archdiocese of Kraków and of the New Evangelisation Team of the Polish Bishops' Conference. Involved with the Mt28 Christian Movement since 1990.
